Most pens are sized for a relaxed, arm-driven hand. A lot of people do not write that way; they write small, from the fingers, with the pen held close and high. The Margin Slim is built for that grip. The barrel is 9.2 mm at its widest and the section narrows to 8.4 mm, which lets the fingers sit where they naturally want to without being pushed apart.
At 14 g filled it is the lightest pen we make. The nib is a No. 5 in fine, 0.45 mm, tuned to a moderate flow so it keeps up with a fast small hand. The body is turned aluminium, bead-blasted and anodised matte black, which keeps the weight down without making it feel hollow.
The cap posts but adds 3 g behind the hand; most people who buy this pen write with it unposted. Takes short international cartridges and a slim converter, supplied.
