Processing and delivery
Orders placed before 14:00 Mountain Time on a business day are picked the same day. Everything else is picked the next business day. Nib units that require a grind to order — the architect grind, and any monogram seal — are stated on their own product pages and take longer.

Delivery windows are business days after dispatch and do not include the processing time above. A tracking number is emailed when the parcel is collected, not when the label is printed, so the first scan is usually within a few hours.
Rates
Rates are calculated at checkout from the shipping address and the weight of the parcel. There are no handling fees and no surcharges added after checkout.

How things are packed
Ink is the reason this section exists. A 50 ml glass bottle that breaks in transit ruins everything else in the carton, so bottles are packed separately from paper and pens in every order that contains both.
- Ink bottles are sealed at the neck, bagged, and set in a die-cut insert that holds the bottle off every wall of the carton.
- Pens travel in their own box inside the carton, nib upward, with the converter empty. We do not ship a filled pen.
- Paper ships flat. Reams and pads go in a rigid board sleeve; nothing is rolled.
- Nib units ship in a tube with the test card, inside the main carton.
Outer cartons are plain and unbranded. There is nothing printed on the outside that says what is inside.
Lost, late and damaged
If tracking has not moved for five business days, write to us and we will open an enquiry with the carrier. We do not ask you to do that yourself.
If a parcel arrives damaged, photograph the outer carton before unpacking it. That photograph is what the carrier claim turns on, and once the carton is in the bin the claim is much harder. Send it to us with the order number and we will replace or refund without waiting for the carrier to conclude.
