For more than a dozen seals at a sitting, a spoon is the wrong tool: it cools between pours and the wax skins. This warmer holds a removable 45 mm brass crucible over a tealight on a shelf that adjusts through 20 mm, so the temperature can be set once and left.
The crucible lifts out with a hooked tool, supplied, which means you pour from the crucible rather than tipping the whole warmer, and it also means a second crucible can be kept for a second colour. The body is spun brass with three legs and a stable 110 mm footprint.
Run it with the shelf at its lowest setting first and raise it only if the wax is not fully fluid; too hot and flexible wax discolours and loses some of its flexibility. A crucible holds about 25 g, which is roughly 25 seals, and will stay pourable for as long as the tealight burns.
