Identical book block to the half-bound Ledger: 272 pages of 110 gsm cream wove, feint-ruled at 8 mm with a red margin rule, sewn on tapes, rounded and backed. The difference is entirely the case — full book cloth over board, no leather-grain spine or corners.
We make both because the half-binding is genuinely more durable at the corners and genuinely more expensive, and a book that is going to live in a drawer does not need it. If the book will stand on a shelf and be pulled out by the headcap weekly for ten years, buy the half-bound. If it will lie flat in a desk, this is the same book for fifteen dollars less.
Available in graphite or deep violet cloth. The RPCO mark is blind-debossed on the front board, lower right. Pages numbered, first four leaves blank. Same iron gall behaviour as the half-bound: no feathering at 110 gsm.
