A complete unit rather than a loose nib: steel nib, cut ebonite feed and threaded housing, assembled and tuned, ready to screw into any of our No. 6 pens in about three seconds. Changing a whole unit is the right way to change a nib, because a loose nib has to be seated in a feed by hand and a badly seated nib is a wet one.
Available ground extra fine at 0.33 mm, fine at 0.45, medium at 0.60 and broad at 0.85, all measured on 100 gsm laid with the house violet. Every unit is written-tested before it is boxed and the test card goes in the box, so you can see the actual line rather than a nominal width.
Fits the Registry 02, both Engrossings, the Column, both Entry Standards and the Counting House. It does not fit the No. 5 pens — Minute Book, Margin, Schoolroom, First Entry — which take a different thread. Supplied in a tube with the test card.
