The same idea as the No. 8, scaled down to something you can write a whole page with. The No. 6 nib is ground to 0.9 mm with the corners eased, so it holds a flat broad edge across the stroke but will not dig when you cross a letter. The line variation between a down-stroke and a cross-stroke is roughly three to one, which is enough to make ordinary handwriting look deliberate without any change in how you write.
The body is 139 mm capped in the same cream acrylic as the No. 8, with a graphite-grey section for contrast. At 24 g filled it is light enough to use for correspondence rather than headings. The cap posts securely and the balance stays ahead of the hand.
Converter supplied. The grind is done by hand on a fine wheel and finished on a ceramic hone; if it ever feels scratchy after a drop, send it back and we will re-hone it rather than replace the nib.
